The Grinberg peaks include 3 peaks in the Tux ridge of the Zillertal Alps southwest of Mayrhofen:
Vordere Grinbergspitze (2.765 m)
On a well-marked, promising trail to a ridge, then over boulders and ridges with easy climbing (I) - not particularly difficult - in 2.5 hours to the summit. A head for heights and sure-footedness are essential.
Already on the way and of course at the summit you will be rewarded with a wonderful view all the way to the Karwendel! And best of all: Since the Grinbergspitze is not a well-known mountain - yet;-) - you can still find the peace and solitude here that you often look for in vain in the mountains.
Mittlere Grinbergspitze (2.867 m)
The second peak is also known as the Tower. The ascent is from the Vorderen Grindbergspitze on unmarked trails with some easy climbing (I - II) in about 30 minutes to the summit.
Hintere Grinbergspitze (2.886 m)
Also called "Kristallner", with climbing of difficulty III, also completely unmarked, approx. 30 minutes from the middle Grinbergspitze.
At the end of the 1970s, the Berlin section of the German Alpine Association in particular promoted the connection of the huts in the Zillertal. Since then, it has been possible to hike about 70 km through high alpine terrain in eight stages along the Berliner Höhenweg.
